scapa flow dive boats

Scapa Dive Boat Operators

There is a whole fleet of dive boats operating in the Scapa Flow area, covering all the main dive sites and many more. Book your next dive trip to Scapa Flow by contacting one of the charter boats on the right.

With a wealth of expertise and knowledge, the skippers and crew of the Scapa Flow dive boat fleet are as passionate about diving these wrecks as they are knowledgeable. Dive briefings are thorough and meticulously prepared, and all levels of experience are catered for. From day vessels to liveaboards, there are options to suit those who want more time to be able to explore what Stromness and the surrounding area has to offer and those who prefer their evening spent at sea. Most vessels are able to offer Trimix and Nitrox. Whilst some boats specialise in the Scapa Flow area, others also travel further afield visiting more remote dive sites. Visit their websites by selecting from the links to the right for more information.

The two dive shops in Stromness - the Dive Cellar and Scapa Scuba - are also listed to the right. Scapa Scuba offers a range of dive courses and guided shore dives, with its half day 'try a dive' for complete beginners at the blockships by the Churchill Barriers being particularly popular.

Dive With Confidence

Whilst no one comes to Scapa Flow with the intention of seeing the inside of a hyperbaric chamber, it is reassuring to know that there are state of the art facilities available in Stromness, run by Orkney Hyperbaric Trust and operated by SULA Diving.
